Woo-hoo! Back down to 189.2 this week, a loss of 2.8 pounds. I was extremely careful watching what I ate this week, and it shows. I was extra-good at a reception we had here at the firm on Wednesday, when there was all manner of good treats available, along with champagne.
Since this is week 47 of the Diet, I’ve been mulling over what to do with the posting, come week 52 in five weeks. At that point, I’ll have been doing this a year, and I think I’ll probably stop the weekly posts, although that could change with the wind. Most likely, I’ll move to a monthly accounting, on the first Friday of any given month. I’m not quitting Weight Watchers — it’s a lifestyle, not a diet, rememeber — just altering how I blog about it.
What’s most important to me, though, is that I’ve proven to myself that I can lose weight. Even when I’ve been bad for a while and re-gain some of the weight, I know what I need to do to lose it again, and most importantly — to me, at least — without really sacrificing what I like to eat. I just eat smarter now.
Onward and downward!
