CAIRO, Egypt – An Iraqi militant group has beheaded its South Korean hostage, Al-Jazeera television reported Tuesday.
The pan-Arab station said it had received a videotape showing that Kim Sun-il had been executed.
Al Qaeda was not in Iraq, pre-war. That they are now, and are growing in strength, shows the flaws of the so-called Bush Doctrine. This is not fly-paper — ShrubCo wasn’t that smart. This is the result of a lack of planning, and now countries the world over are paying the price.
My sympathies to the family of Kim Sun-il, along with my apologies for my country creating the mess that resulted in this horrible deed happening to your son.
