I bought Kim a Nikon D60 for her birthday, which means I gained possession of the Sony H1. Two weekends back, we used them for the first time on a photo stroll through Rockefeller State Park Preserve, up the Taconic. We got there mid-afternoon and stuck around until right around sunset. Toward the end of the walk, this vista revealed itself to us in all of its glory. It had rained the day before, brinigng down much of the remaining leaves, but there were still enough left to bring this scene into a fiery beauty.
We both caught numerous shots of different angles, and this is but one of mine.
