It’s a Steely Dan Kinda Morning…

…courtesy of Mark, who dropped a ton of music on me last weekend to copy. Today it’s a live soundboard from a session at the Record Plant in LA back on March 20, 1974. Holy crap, this is good!

Steely Dan – Reeling Through the Years (Live at The Record Plant, Los Angeles, CA, March 20, 1974)

The band was:

Jim Hodder – Drums
Denny Dias – Guitar
Donald Fagen – Vocal and Keyboards
Jeff “Skunk” Baxter – Guitar
Walter Becker – Bass
Royce Jones – guest vocal on Any Major Dude

1. Bodhisattva
2. The Boston Rag
3. Do It Again
4. Any Major Dude Will Tell
5. King of the World
6. Rikki Don’t Lose That Number
7. Pretzel Logic
8. Instrumental
9. Reeling in the Years
10. This All Too Mobile Home

I’m on record stating that it’s hard to find a better band, in my opinion, and this recording of them at their peak is just stunning.
